Car Parks

Chelmsford Parks

Time restrictions for parking apply in certain local parks.

Whilst we have an arrangement with the Parks & Green Spaces Department, it would be prudent to check parking restrictions when leading walks.

The car parks where we have agreed an approach with the Parks & Green Spaces Department (which will allow us to lead all day walks) and their normal affected times are:

3 hours - Andrews Park, Chancellor Park, Coronation Park and Chelmer Park
2 Hours - Beaulieu Park, Springfield Hall Park, Oaklands Park, Lionmede Recreation Ground, Jubilee Park and Noakes Park.

Restrictions do not apply at Weekends or after 6pm

If you wish more information before deciding on a walk please talk to your walk co-ordinator or send an e-mail to the General Secretary.

Please also remember to obtain permission to use any car park that is privately owned (such as Pubs, Churches and Village Halls).
